misprints in foreign languages
somehow these misprints are more common in foreign languages. maybe it's because they print less in their presses, they tend to be less careful etc? i doubt this bad of a misprint would make out of the print in usa. am i wrong?

Value: Original Art
How much would the original art of Compulsion be worth? Is it even worth selling on eBay? I'd be glad if anyone who knows anything on this subject writes something here. Thx.

Re: Japanese Cursed Scroll Misprint
I remember one misprint being auctioned on eBay together with a non-misprint one quite recently, maybe in the last three months , I lost the auction of course. I could not find it in the completed listings though. I remember checking the pictures, they were japanese alright and one had 2 activation ...

Re: W/ Cephalid Looter - creature wizard
This Saturday (at around 4 pm to be exact) I got 2 more Cephalid Looters (wizard version) at Pandemonium (the store where the prereleases are held in Michigan). They were back to back in a stack of like 30 - 40 normal Cephalid Looters. (as a side note, this makes me suspect that the cards are coming...

Re: tournament playability of misprints
Speaking of playing Summer cards in tournaments... Here, a local player has an ice-age playtest (back then they were printing cards for playtesting, he says) version of counterspell. The card is albino, just black and white. According to what the player tells, he got the card from a janitor who work...

Re: tournament playability of misprints
Here is the image of the Brainstorm card and the COP: Black that has Brainstorm's name and casting cost. One thing to note is that the backs of the cards are perfect, ie there is no misalignment in the backs, just like any other magic card.

tournament playability of misprints
Are there any rules that regulate the playability of misprints? The source of my question is a miscut Brainstorm from Ice Age. The card has the top of a Pyroblast at the bottom 1/2 inch. The name Brainstorm and the mana cost is not on the card. The picture and the text of Brainstorm is of course on ...

Re: Harry Potter missprint on back of every card.4
I have one of those Scourge Precon Goblin decks. I am just keeping it unopened. As long as it is unopened, it is as good as a Harry Potter back deck, because there's the possibility for that. (see: Schrodinger's cat) If you don't wanna spare $5.000, this is a possible method to own a Harry Potter de...

Re: Misprint Reya Dawnbringer
I am interested in the card assuming it is mint or at least near mint. I'd give $25.00 cash or $30-35 in trade for it.

question 2: planeshift alt art print runs?
Does anybody know what is the chances of opening an alternate art English foil Tahngarth (or Ertai, or Skyship). On the packs it says that the chances of opening normal foils are 1:70 although I know that in practice you pretty much open a foil rare in a box (which is 1:36). Sorry if this is asked b...

Re: New official article about magic counterfeits
After reading the article I shook my box of Italian Legends I bought from dacardworld. Luckily it sounds like it contains packs. Maybe I should open the box before it is too late. :-/
Crossing my fingers, hoping I have no counterfeit cards that I am not aware of.
