Price is Fair

Hi, I'm the seller of the 6x9 set linked above, and the price is exceptionally fair. And yes, you WERE lucky to get a Radiant '99 card for a couple euro, the seller obviously didn't know what he had, or lowered the price due to lack of demand. From the auction: 6x9 Card Values: I received a note fro...

The problem with obscure items like this is that you need to find a buyer who agrees with you on its value (and is actually willing to pay.) I don't think you can really judge it based on sales of similar items. I once saw a certain rare card go for $140, and two months later I bought one for $15. I...

Archivist, regarding your wiki on Coldsnap, the expansion symbol has been released. It appears on the WOTC Coldsnap fact sheet ... it appears to be 3 icicles. As far as what MTG card I would be? That's really hard to say... there don't appear to be any "drunken dragons" (which would be really cool b...

Dirty Guildpact?

I recently acquired a handful of guildpact commons where the upper portion, particularly the top-left corner looks like the ink smeared or smudged (but only the black ink). I've seen a lot of misprints through the years, but I can't recall seeing anything exactly like this. Are these "double-dark" t...

I too wouldn't mind purchasing a few sealed packs out of your box. Though I doubt I would be able to pay the price for the entire box.

For keeping track: I used to use Magic Suitcase, but with each new update I've liked that program less and less. The creators have tried (imho) to make it do too many things, and as a result it does none of them well anymore. The last straw was when suddenly what I used to accomplish with the keyboa...

Bust out your Rime Dryads fellas... Ice Age is coming back to the hizzy! I'm very excited about this set. This represents a terrific opportunity for WOTC to give the Ice Age block more cohesion, to make Snow-covered Lands not-suck, and of course to (possibly) reprint Kaja's gorgeous Stone Rain for n...

Some of the foils were damaged too. I realize the foils are considered to be worth more, but my understanding is that a complete set *never* contains a mix of print formats. Period. Is that incorrect? As it is, in looking over my other Betrayers cards, I can replace a couple of the damaged cards mys...

That is awesome. I should think that if you sold them on eBay you'd do alright. Black bordered portal goodness fetches a decent price in my experience.

Irresponsible Seller? Or Am I Just Picky?

Okay fellow collectors. It is in my nature to second guess myself. I'm having problems with an ebay seller and I want to know if I am not being fair. I welcome your opinions/advice on this matter. Here's the story: I won this auction for a complete set of Betrayers of Kamigawa. I've been purchasing ...

shame on them~~~you should know these English tokens are not actually form an English-speaking country....and even the latest wizards player award tokens don't provide rich flavored descriptions which I think is a bad,bad idea. No flavor text is better than silly or poorly written flavor text. I'd ...

With the amount of effort people put into these knock-off tokens, you'd think they'd take the time to correct the grammar and/or spelling on the flavor text.

Better yet just leave the flavor text off. Third-party tokens tend to have the weakest flavor text.

Very pretty artwork though...

Only 1125? What a puny project. ;) phyconaut>> As PD said, your isp may already have a space for you. I use a spreadsheet for my collection. I use open office but excell would probibly work as well. That way its easy to keep track locally on my PC as well. I just save in html format and upload with...
