My sympathy to your friend. Having had thousands of dollars of cards stolen by people i invited into my house I understand what he is going through. It changed the whole way I approached collecting magic. good luck.

when i bid on an item i consider the cost of shipping when i place my bid. i don't care what i am charged for shipping. as long as i get what i want at the price i agree to, i am happy. i don't bid if shipping cost is not known in advance. no surprises, no complaints.

i prefer non card collecting. ever since i had a huge amount of cards stolen i stopped building sets to concentrate on calendars, t-shirts, original art, statues, action figures, and uncut sheets. i still collect oversized cards and artist proofs as well. which action figures do you have? moderators I can appreciate the efforts that you are going through to help make the forums run as smoothly as possible. My concern is that in imposing rules to eliminate behavior that bothers you that you may chase away new members who have the potential to contribute to the site in a positive mann...
