Re: why are you listed in the credits?
Well, I guess I am credited on the site because I have provided Ralph with a few hundred of booster scans, because joint investigations with other members have led to clarifying a few issues and also because I may have contributed a bit to the handover of the site from Bob to Ralph (don't know wheth...

Re: Shameless Advertising: My new Misprint Website
Very interesting site. I think however there is still a lot of work to do. I have checked on a couple of misprints I am aware of and they are not there: - German Revised WB Tundra: Missing Artist name - French Foil and non Foil Green Myojin : Has a reference to the Black Myojin in the second paragra...

Forum sections
Hello everybody, I was looking at the forum coategories today and I feel like one sub-section maybe lacking. Where should someone post if he/she has a question regarding an item (value, origin, what set is this?, etc.) ? It does not belong to the trading sub-sections, it's not a "News" and it's not ...

Re: Idea: The 'Dealing with Artists' thread?
i think if good artist contact information was collected with email and website links this kind of information would be readily available to anyone interested without cluttering up the thread. Sure, that's what I thought too. Maybe some very specific practices should be mentioned though ... E.g. Wi...

Re: Idea: The 'Dealing with Artists' thread?
OK, thank you guys for the input. I'll try to sum-up what's being said so far. 1) Everyone seems to agree that such a thread or whatever other forms it takes is not a bad idea. -> Good, let's move forward. 2) Some interest into adding a track-record of Original Art ownership. -> I'm a bit puzzled ab...

Idea: The 'Dealing with Artists' thread?
Hello everybody. I want to create a thread which would be a resource for the whole Magic community who is interested into dealing with artists. I know many of you have at least tried to contact some artists and that the return of experience is a wide spread from 'no answer' to 'wonderful person to d...

Re: Arabian Miscuts Set
why start 2 topics about this?? ?? Yeah, that's a good question. And now, other good question, why listing the auction in the WRONG category?? Here's the real MtG category on eBay: http://toys.listings.ebay.com/Trading-Card-Games_Magic-the-Gathering_W0QQfromZR11QQsacategoryZ19107QQsocmdZListingItem...

Re: Complete Rivals Set
The US version is a yellow box. The European versions are a white box with a Wizard casting a fireball on the front. The Japanese versions are completely different (and much nicer looking). US version is a no brainer, it costs around $6-8 to purchase sealed. European versions are extremely difficult...

Re: Buying a Box when you are in Europe
Shipping one box is around $20-25. Shipping 2 boxes only adds ~$5 ... However, you will potentially face two issues: 1- Custom taxes. You may qualify for custom taxes with that kind of heavy shipping, it can add up to 25% to the total (well, at least in France) 2- WotC has forbidden US retailers to ...

Re: Help with displaying my collection of boosters
I've started collecting unopened boosters and I was looking for a way to display them. Naturally, they don't fit in standard binders etc, so I'm looking for ideas here. Nice frame thingie perhaps? And of course, if you can hook me up with A/B/U, AN and Legends boosters, let me know. ;) Well, it dep...

Re: Uncut Vanguard sheet
Ho ... It seems I have missed most of them so :)There have probably been 15 to 20 sheets total auctioned on eBay in the past year.
I admit I don't check uncut sheets on a regular basis
