One guy wants me to crack the frame and buy 1 for nearly 2K. If all 12 were available I wouldn't see an issue with the asking price but this is 4 of the 12. The trouble with the scope of collecting MTG is that some of us are ignorant of reality based values, ie old art - new art - promos - ABU - foi...

Con would be possible theft/loss. Also the logistics for some people getting to Indy- Not sure what the pros really are unless you intended to sell/generate interest to sell. It might be good for other people but not sure how that would be good for John Doe to drag his stuff to Gen Con to show off/d...

Urza art set-

Anyone from this site is welcome to buy these. Of course the awful economy and my asking price limits potential buyers greatly. I'm sure I will rue the day if they sell though...

Exactly, winning the lottery for instance would be terrible. Buying the tickets and imagining what you would do with the winnings... that's the real payoff right there.

If D Chang had it he would be asking $16,000 or something ridiculous for it so maybe better he didn't have it ready to sell to you.

Over time most art will pop up for sale. Just takes a few decades sometimes.

If you happen to see any notable art sell there please let us know what they went for.
I'm thinking about selling my Antiquities land set to pick up a pinball machine- I passed on a really good offer awhile ago and maybe will have to wait for the economy to pick up again to realize that amount.

Seems like Ebay is the way to go for Alpha art. Unless you find a private buyer who's willing to shell out good $$. The recent pieces listed have been jumped on rapidly.

And no I did not know if the packs were fully searched or not by T&T or prior but I took their word for it BITD I picked up a Beta booster and Arabians on site at a tourney and opened Tundra and Juzam (when djinn was probably the best pull you could get)- T&T is honest imo when they say unsearched....

FedEx won't let you insure a card for anything over $100 going out of the country anyway so it really wouldn't matter. But then what happens if buyer receives the item and claims it's damaged or something? Do you tell Paypal or whoever "FedEx didn't allow me to insure it for actual value" and they ...
