I only have a set of Raging Ravines but they feel completely normal to me. However since I only have one play set in S-Chinese from WWK I can't be sure. What seller was it? I have had really good luck with Visualmall on ebay for my Chinese cards.

Yes those have the standard MTG back on them. They are White Bordered (WB) Simplified Chinese 5th edition and where only sold in mainland China.

Beatdown artist proofs do exist. I own a couple of them including a Kird Ape. I have some of the Italian fwb ones. The date on the card is 1995, but I'm not sure which printing are they from. I believe that it will be wallet sized much like the DCI cards issued by WOTC.

I found it while surfing the Front Range Magic site & it mentioned States. as far as I know it is not an official Wizards event so there will be no special promos. other then the mats & cards.

As far as I know they have been renamed States & are being held on December 5th. There is a special playmat for the Top 8 & the winners will receive a custom DCI card with their picture.
