The life counter is very difficult to use. Give me two 10 sided die or a pencil and paper. Yah, it needs a flat base to sit on. The first game I played with the arsenal life counter, we rolled it to see who goes first. Not sure it should be that unstable where it can be rolled. Beyond that, it does...

yes, but the store is also limited to what they can do on their end. They have tons of people wanting an item that they get 5 of, what is proper for them to do? Sell all to the first guy that offers MSRP so he can flip them? First come first serve? lottery? just auction them on ebay... ? The stores ...

Well it comes down to perceived value, after all it is just cardboard. While magic generally shouldn't be viewed as an investment, its hard not to. You often buy cards and sell them later for around the same price. You want to feel secure putting your money out there. if WOTC they make moves that su...

I think I'll have a problem with the flip cards. They have a combined turn so it is easy for them to cast enough spells to keep the sunny side up. You did give me an idea though--the old Orcish Oriflamme will give me some help on attack power. In play test the Commander PCD with the Kaalia of the V...

Is there a way to tell if glass is UV resistant? He and I have no idea about this and I'd hate to hang it where it would fade. as per random googled info... 1) if your eye sight is good enough you should be able to shine light through and see a "wavy" texture on the inside of the glass 2) the cut s...

Blocking all the popular email addresses seems like a fairly bad idea unless you just don't want people to join the forum. I thought the simple methods were to just put in an antibot question or two, "what is 3+2?" and "are you a bot?" along w/ a CAPTCHA entry. Beyond that you just have a moderator ...

very cool ... but like the others ... what is on the other side? I am pretty sure the way that they are cut allows them to match up perfectly both upsidedown and rightsideup and you will see that when you flip them around in that exact pattern they are in now the cards will be facing opposite direct...

Selling Return to Ravnica prerelease guild packs sealed
My local store has a few extra sealed guild packages (box with 5 standard boosters + 1 guild booster). There is one copy of each as well as some random assortment of non g/w & b/g ones. I would be offering these for my local store therefore I'd have to pass any offers along. If you're interested in ...

Yah, all the packs have the promo card, then the gate, then the rare... so you can just slide up the third card and search the pack if you care that much. No reason to leave a money card sitting in there when you could easily bust it, sell it, and grab another assuming the store has them. I think my...

I still like to imagine what the collection would be worth if I went mad one day and opened all the boosters up.

Unbelievable! Just received the boosters and each one of them has been opened! Nowhere in the description does it mention this little fact. They are going back, $14 postage wasted! demand the seller pay the return shipping. If they don't, then make paypal do it before you'll agree to send them back...

well if you insist on gatherer you can just use the URl for artist search in the mean time
http://gatherer.wizards.com/Pages/Searc ... ed&artist=[ARTIST NAME]
just copy/paste and properly type in the artist name and you'll get your gatherer search. Ghetto, but effective.
