Terese also loves gold foil, so this wasn't much of a surprise when this was put together. All kinds of neat things on her site if you poke around a little.

interesting, its actually my least favorite. I'm into simple I guess. The first island is very interesting and likely my favorite of the group.

are the cards in these (basics specifically) in any way distinguishable from normal ones? I assume the intention is that they aren't, but given they would be printed separate from the standard print run of cars, there is a chance that differences could be spotted.

I pick up random Terese Nielsen foils because I like the art. I don't actively seek out too much tho, but if its easily available I'll certainly pick up terrible cards with her art.

Hrm, was t-Chinese stopped then started? or has it been going the whole time? I forget where I was referencing my thoughts from. I know my island checklist stops t-Chinese some time back. Your checklist is missing a few islands... doh, lol. Well then! Stupid project, but its fun to find out the var...

Are they exact duplicates? or do they have various card set numbers as the previous sets did? Either way, let me know how many Islands we're talking and the aprox cost. Thanks.

Ah, its more clear now. I can also see the artist sig in silver now that I looked closer. Why would he sign on top of what the artist did? IMO I'm not terribly interested in Garfield signatures. I do have a revised dis that is signed by Garfield and has "Worlds '94" written on it, however I wasn't t...

Willard, THAT is one cool altered art card! i really share this opinion! but i am stunned that garfield can draw that good. the coffee mugs, birds and other small stuff he drew on other cards and playmats made me think that he is not that talented in that direction. Was kinda my thoughts as well. A...

If anyone purchases a set w/ the intention of splitting it, I'd be interested in the islands :) Kind of hard to justify buying a whole set just for the islands tho. I'd also be interested in islands out of it as well. Possibly enough islands so we both can get what we need from one set? I hope so. ...
