http://www.ebay.com/itm/1993-Magic-The-Gathering-MTG-Unlimited-Mox-Jet-R-A-BGS-10-PRISTINE-PWCC-/351313192536 pristine Mox Jet Unl 👍 It seems like Unlimited collectors aren't willing to pay much more for a BGS 10 piece than for lower grades. I wonder for how much would had it ended if it was from A...

I have one that I really should get graded but I hate grading cases. The pics below are on a dirty cheap scanner in a sleeve. Card is pristine. Where are you located maybe could show in person. What ballpark are you offering? if its in the right range I can send you better scans and pics etc http:/...

Japanese is old and busted. Since Russian and Korean became available, Japanese has become much less pimp. To make things worse, Japanese is available in higher quantities to resellers domestically in the US in much larger quantities than Russian or Korean are, so there is more available. All 3 lan...

I think Russian Foil is the way to go at the moment. I'd suggest purchasing directly from Russian online card shops now that PayPal can convert to Rubles. The falling value of the Ruble compared to other currencies should mean that you can get some good deals. Pick up all the Russian Foil fetch lan...

Foil Japanese, Russian or Korean?

As Wizards will keep promoting Modern, I'm thinking about investing in some Modern pimp stuff (only very good cards, which will probably be played for many years, like fetchlands). Which language do you think is a better investment? 1. Japanese. It's traditionally the "pimpest" language for foils. E...

Congratulations, l0qii, that's really amazing. You don't need just money to complete that kind of sets, but lots of patience, much more than to complete an Alpha set.

You guessed right. English had a much smaller print run than Japanese or Chinese. This is because P3K was only sold in Asia/Pacific region, where English is not the most common language Is there any evidence of that? If I take a look at Ebay or Magic Card Market, there's about the same number of Ja...

To be honest, when I look at Markers's collection, I find it truly beautiful. But on a personal note, I have always collected unsigned card, I like them unaltered, in their original condition. Maybe some kind of neurosis ? :-D Since signing a card is an irreversible act, I must say that an unsigned...

Why is English P3K more expensive than Japanese?

I wonder why in the case of Portal Three Kingdoms English cards have noticeable higher prices than Japanese ones. Is the English print run much smaller than the Japanese one? If I look at Ebay or Magic Card Market, English doesn't seem to be much rarer. In the rest of sets, Japanese cards are worth ...

Signed or not?

Do you think it's better to invest in signed cards (by the artist, well signed, and not altered) or in unsigned ones? I have heard many different opinions, and I'd like to know what do you think about it. On the one hand, signed cards have the added value of being signed by the artist (that value is...

Really impressive.

I wonder how much money would cost someone to get a collection like that one, in let's say 3 years.
