I guess it's pretty much a circular arguement. My main reasoning is: 1) It doesn't make them any substantial profit to reprint those cards. The collectors sets may have been profitable back when WOTC was a small company but now they would have to mass produce which just destroys collecting altogethe...

It's not logical for WOTC to reprint any "big" cards... They usually publish an article every year or so about why it wouldn't make any sense. People still often talk about it happening... as if they know something that the people who run WOTC don't know ;-) It really makes no sense to screw collect...

Wyvern backed FE value?
Just curious how much these are going for? Someone offered to sell me some and I can only find the ones T&T is selling. Usually they're astronomically higher than the norm...

I guess I'm biased cause I think it's a dumb idea. I suppose that it's good for anybody making a killing off of selling graded cards or doing the grading though. I got some PSA 10's, Beta stuff. Cards look great but not really any better than some stuff I've got put away... I think it's a fad type o...

I think Beckett looks nice but PSA is no worse a grader than BGS. PSA is older and has a much larger population of graded cards than BGS. This explains why there will be fewer higher and lower graded cards from BGS. Beckett has an MTG publication which "shills" it's own graded cards. Beckett used to...

Ebay inquiry
I was curious if anyone has seen any original MTG artwork (bigger) than Guardian Beast sell on Ebay up to this date?

R.I.P. Tim Hildebrandt
June 11, 2006 Tim Hildebrandt has passed away. And, with him, so has an era. Tim, 67, died today from complications due to diabetes. He is survived by his mother Germaine, twin brother Greg, sister Janie, wife Rita, son Charles, nieces Mary and Laura, and nephew Gregory. Tim was an otherworldly arti...
