I would have been pretty excited to make the 4 figure digit berkumps had set in my mind but nothing I can do about it now. Splitting up the set just seemed wrong to me in many ways. The price range seems fine (I would rather say $700 without shipping but I wanted it gone). Regarding that there was a...

This looks hand cut to me. There seems to be an awful lot of hand cut revised miscuts.

The picture of the 3 backsides is pretty hilarious. 2 shiny 1 matte - high quality work obviously.

Those corners look way off to me - can anyone tell if those are rebacked?

No way that this damage is from bending the card once or twice - even if it is rebacked. I am pretty sure it was folded on purpose.
Maybe so that one can say - "hey it survived this so it has to be authentic".

Glossy Mirrodin

Hey, I was at a friends place helping him to go through some boxes and we found a really glossy Mirrodin uncommon. The card looked like an incredibly bad fake so I cross bended it twice and while it stayed intact it got very slight creases in the middle from the bending. Anyone ever came across some...

In the end I payed $8,000, (unless you are from the tax office, in which case it was a gift) 8-[ How do you feel about your purchase? Perfectionism etc aside ... do you think it was worth the money you paid? It feels a little weird to me that you talk about it keeping its momentarily value or even ...

Exactly my thought. 2 of them are even somewhat playable.

Great stuff. Maybe ask fzappa as he is building a miscut IA set.
