<snip> But this brings me back to an earlier question. Do we want a project that raises money primarily from existing forum members, or one that raises money from the Magic community at large. If we want the latter, then we probably want to have a fairly large print run (at least relative to some o...

im glad to see this project coming to a head. i dont see why the magic library logo would have to cost that much money that it would drain funds from the a set of cards that has ten times the artwork, plus printing, etc. perhaps someone on the boards could call in a favor, or maybe one of the magic ...

if you are serious about getting your cards or money back, i would suggest writing an open letter to quinton hoover or christopher rush (or any other artist) about the situation on the official wizards forum for artists in front of their adoring fans. they both post there and im sure they wouldnt wa...

id like to direct your attention to this post at gamingetc.com http://forums.gamingetc.com/index.php?showtopic=16765 apparently a set of dual land proxies is already under way. we would be competing with a well-funded business that has a jump start and experience making cards. is it still a good ide...

I really like the idea of dual lands with similar layout to the textless MPR spells. Art shouldn't be all that hard, just go to a local art school and offer a "starving artist" some cash for all the pieces. thats my .02 that would be fine, but since these a going to be textless cards, the artwork b...

Also, one item of interest is what kind of artwork - the fantasy type of artwork used on cards now, or the anime type that some people enjoy also. id like to see real magic artists doing the art. ideally well-known artists such as rebecca guay, ron spencer, ed beard jr, or the like. this may not be...

i support hammer7 as project leader if he would be interested in doing so. im going to reiterate my support for a very small set of cards for this first outing. this is not going to be a cakewalk and i dont want us to shoot ourselves in the foot before we even start. organizing the design and artwor...

i really dont think that people will want latin proxies. the magic library community is very international, but if we are going to sell these to people outside of "us", i think they will have to be in english. like i said, if you have to explain what it is, nobodys gonna want it. these cards are sup...
