Re: Value: 1996 PT Collector Set?

OK!  I have seen that before.  I actually have all of the decks from about '98 on, but I had forgotten about the NY box.

Re: Value: 1996 PT Collector Set?

Forgive my ignorance, but what exactly is a 1996 PT collector's set?  Is that the same as the international collector's edition set?

Re: question 2: planeshift alt art print runs?

Wait...what's this about no 'normal' art foil rares in Europe?  You mean to say there's no Italian/German/Spaniss/French/Portuguese Tangarth, Ertai, or Weatherlite?

I'd never heard that before.  Very strange.

Re: Question about shady ebay bidding

THANK YOU Hammr7 - That makes sense.  so i guess it would be better to bid an even amount when you bid, so that this can't happen to you?

Re: Question about shady ebay bidding

OK now, I apparently didn't explain myself well...

My max bid was $30.

I was the current high bidder at $27.

At the last minute, I re-bid $40 and the auction ended at $31.

Question about shady ebay bidding

I don't know if any of you can answer this, but is there a way to find out what someone's max bid is without them knowing, or it showing up in the bid history? Reason I ask is, lately I've been outbid at the last minute by someone on just about every beta single I bid on anymore.  I know a lot ...

Re: New official article about magic counterfeits

Awww...cut rosewater some slack about the square-cornered cards comment.  He's so frazzled he said that numbering and coding of rarity started in Legacy.
He's very busy teasing us about Unglued 2.

Re: ebay: alpha mox artist proofs!!

I have a friend who has a deck of all R. Guay art cards, and when he built it he had trouble finding defense of the Heart for cheap...so he bought several from Rebecca at Gen con and now plays with 'em in our casual play games.

I don't know why anyone would play with aspect of wolf though...

Re: German Revised BB Artist Proofs?

They're definitely not 4th, because two of them are duals.  I'll check them this weekend to make sure of the language.

Re: German Revised BB Artist Proofs?

I have some Rob Alexander APs from WB Italian Revised, and I think I've seen (and maybe have) some non-english IA APs.  Not sure how common these are, or which sets non-english APs were made for.

Wow...well, maybe these belongs on the 'trader' forum, but I'd gladly pay $10 for one.  I'm sure a lot of people have one and don't even know it.

I still need one too - I purchased the pre-con it was from, but it looks like they fixed it at some point.

Please send me a message if anyone has one to trade or sell!

Re: Chinese 4th edition BB Shanodin Dryads

I was going back through my old e-mails, because I remembered that when i traded for Chinese 5th in 2000 my connection told me that a lot of cards weren't printed in S-Chinese V.  Among them were Necro (too strong), Mesa Pegusus (no banding in s-chinese V), and Force of Nature (no idea why). &n...

Re: What's the deal with summer/wyvern???

I think there's a trend with rare cards, and it's biting me in the ass whilst I try to complete my beta set:  Those of us that learned how to play MTG in College 8-10 years ago are finally getting to the point of our lives where we have MONEY to spend on this crap.  Thus, we're willing, an...
