I'm thinking they were acquired legally from the dealer, however the dealer never paid Mark the money. Think about the logic of your statement... Not to be a smart ass or anything but seriously. Did the dealer "own" that art? If he didn't "own" the art and then he sold the art that didn't belong to...

Mark is aware of the site. It's probable (though I don't "know") the guy bought the art from whoever dealer guy stole those from Mark or a source that obviously derived from the guy who stole them. Maybe he paid good $$ for them (unknowingly aware of the situation) and that puts him/her in an ethic...

Many years ago, not long after the first set for Magic: The Gathering was released, I consigned many of those first pieces to a gallery in Kirkland, Washington called WIZARDS GALLERY, owned by MARC RIECK. Four of the pieces were sold legal and fine, but the gallery abruptly closed and the artwork w...

this spring I'll have to give Chris a pat on the back.... I think give the art director a pat on the back more like it. Didn't matter who the artist was, this is purely a "It's the Black Lotus..." driven sale. I could see the image being marketed on MTGO like the sign in screen but what else? They ...

Mana Matrix painting, Legends rare
Any of you broke asses who can't afford the Urza lands want this piece? :) It's the art for the card (also featured on the legends box top itself) without frame- I had planned to do similar work, ala frame several of those LE pieces together for good effect, but alas I'm going to invest in my person...

What's the story behind the ST:TNG pinball machine? Why is it so valuable/rare? Pinball machines are exploding in value. STTNG is one of the best machines ever made and the top games are exploding even more in value. Literally, in the last 4 months some machines have doubled in value or close to it...

I'd jump at that if they were the Mark Poole art Urza lands. I had some Poole art from AQ about 10 years ago and it was just OK. My expectations had been really high though... I see he's doing new art now that looks great though! BIG pieces. The Tedin ones exceeded my expectations by a margin. His ...

It looks a lot better in person too. A good % of my buyers are in Australia- That period where you had such a great exchange rate created an exodus of sorts from here to there... I'll have it sold by Sunday evening. I'll post the "out of the realm of reason" final sale price if I wind up selling it ...

Right now is a great time to buy classic arcade machines. It's also a terrible time to buy pinball machines. The triptych really looks nice man! Maybe get an image for scale:) I'm also in what is probably a very small group who has held the original Lotus art and a copy of Proposal You also hold the...

I remember when DaCardWorld had Unhinged boxes for like $19 bucks per at the lowest point. I bought tons of it. Nobody wanted it. Sat on it (cause I couldn't get rid of it) and wound up making a killing- Literally, I bought my house last year with the money I made off of cheap DaCardWorld boxes and ...
