Re: Ice Age on double card stock?
I agree with rg.  Back when I was playing, I used to take copies of all my beta Moxen and Lotus' on a really high end color copier and then cut and paste them on the back of revised land.  It was close to looking like real, just a little too thick. Hope those "Revised lands" weren't Summer  :o Â...

Re: Diff cards w/same name -French, Spanish,
Absolutely no objections, of course! :) Please note however I obtained this info through Internet (both those English cards result translated with the same name), but I have NOT seen the actual cards myself so there's a slight chance there could be an error. I tried finding images of the itali...

Re: Diff cards w/same name -French, Spanish,
Interesting Topic, Mark :)
I just analyzed all Italian cards starting with 'A' and for the moment I have that:
Awesome Presence (Blue card from Alliances)
Imposing Visage (Red card from Ice Age)
are both translated as "Aspetto imponente"
More to come (probably) :D

Re: Signed and Altered Alpha Blac Lotus
Thanks everybody for all the useful info, and also for all the congrats (in fact I'm quite proud of this card, even though it's no more than Fine condition). I just tried getting an e-mail across and will let you know about the answer. The fact is that the very vague memories I have, which I mention...

Re: Signed and Altered Alpha Blac Lotus
First of all, congratulations on getting this card, it's superb. If you ever feel like selling it, contact me, I'd be interested... a lot. ;) As for the signatures, they both seem genuine. Generally speaking, I wouldn't doubt signatures on Beta or Alpha power as it would be extremely foolhardy to t...

Re: Signed and Altered Alpha Blac Lotus
Although I am not a sig collector, I have seen enough Christopher Rush sigs to say that it looks authentic. Â I will say that he has usually used better pens in the past and I am not used to seeing through his sigs. Â Garfield's sig is always a scribbly mess that differs enough that they are not co...

Signed and Altered Alpha Blac Lotus
Hello, I just acquired this card: http://img105.exs.cx/img105/4982/abl2bt.jpg As you can see it's an Alpha Black Lotus signed by both Christopher Rush and Richard Garfield, with a significant art-alteration. I know all you Mint-card collectors will turn their heads away, but unfortunately I have thi...

Re: I just won a beta MOX JET for $75 US!
Jakolanten, I find it hard to believe you were banned simply for not paying 1 extra item that should have been combined in shipping with others. Ebay members are usually banned only after 3 (if I recall correctly) violations of that kind, and only after repeated warnings. To help us understand your ...

ende73: Â First off I was not "attacking you", but simply challenging your claim. Â Thank you for pointing out these items as a eBay serach on various words failed to show me this. Â Crappy search engine they have. Â I would like to revisit the auction listing though: Â His auction states he has a...

Maybe I should add: "6.2 Restricted Activities. Your Information (or any items listed) and your activities on the Site shall not: (a) be false, inaccurate or misleading" If you do not consider this listed item (i.e. its description, which includes the picture used) as "misleading", once again that's...

Re: I just won a beta MOX JET for $75 US!
Where is this a violation of policy? Â You cannot make such a statement without providing proof. Â As far as images are concerned there are no rules or policy I can find in regards to this. Â I did find a listing on image theft I was unaware of: http://pages.ebay.com/help/confidence/vero-image-text...

Re: I just won a beta MOX JET for $75 US!
Sorry, but I have to disagree with you. Â He will have to PAY for this auction. Â The seller did not do anything wrong, unethical perhaps (open for debate) but nothing wrong. Â He clearly stated a lot of Random items. How do you take a picture of random items? If you take a picture of 'random' item...
