I have a foil rimescale dragon that's like that. It came from a factory-returned box of coldsnap that was later sold off massive bulk on yahoo japan.

I presume it comes from the pack getting damaged.

I remember hearing they aren't really very good as backpacks and are fairly cheap never now.
