Re: new information about Proposal

I can't believe someone is actually using Bob's old April Fools card as real! :o One might suspect the person who made that ersatz Proposal had actually seen it in a magazine years before, and chose the art from options supplied by the host simply because the composition was similar. He might have e...

Re: new information about Proposal

Snarke, perhaps you can confirm whether the card was ever published in a magazine? In the mid-90's, I remember browsing through some Fantasy/SciFi/Card magazine while in the "library" at a friend's house and seeing a picture of it. The art had the man kneeling in the center, facing the right, in fro...

Or... His Dad meant it as a learning challenge: explore what the computer can do and how you get things from A to B. For most kids nowadays its fun and neat!  8)  (Neat is my word, not necessarily theirs. [smiley=laugh.gif] )

Re: The words at the bottom of the Unhinged cards

For the record, could someone post the Unglued word list? My eyes aren't what they used to be (well, they never were), and using the magnifying glass is such a pain.  :-*

Re: Woc/Isbn/Barcode of Magic Rarities and Others.

I've always preferred WOTC (Wizards Of The Coast) to WOC because it's so much more fun to pronounce: Whotcie! ;D

This list of online sources is invaluable. I suggest it gets archived once the postings slow down. [smiley=ok.gif]

Re: "restoring" cards

Before I knew better, I tried erasing the hair on that famous early artifact misprint (thought it was a pencil mark). Ruined the card, but now I know. ;D

Re: how did you get introduced to mtg?

As far as I'm concerned, I'm only a late Summer chicken! ;D I started playing AD&D in '82, introduced by my good and longtime friend, Burl Zorn (Academy Researcher, right), now at Source Comics and Games (http://sourcecandg.com/). He DM'd the games for many years (still does), but I faded away from ...

Re: wierd junk on ebay

Would it be possible to get one of those magnets?  I would have bid on it, but it was US only, no Canada! :( The magnets are the only items I had interest in, and truly, just one would be good.  Thanks. I would be happy to part with a magnet. I'm not sure what I'd do with them anyway, though I'll...

Re: wierd junk on ebay

Dry_Cereal,
I picked it up just 'cause I wanted the pens.  ;D
I use them at work, and they always seem to disappear, so these will be easy to find. They're neat souvenirs.
