4 hour waits, you can thank the dealers that hand artists stacks of cards and want an alter on each one for that. Yes, and most artists don't do alters on events anymore because of that. Even the amount of cards that an artist signs is limited. And some people think only about having a card signed ...

If what I see on the photo is the whole line, that is nothing. It must have been at least 5 times of that at any given time. It is Aleksi Briclot after all. The guy that drew Planeswalkers, Angels, Titans and all... And let alone the popularity of the cards, he is one of the best illustrators in my ...

No, he didn't receive any. Sometimes they send the regular copies, but I guess that didn't happen either. But Aleksi is extremely busy. So he is usually uncertain if he is placed it or never received.

Thanks Clay,

I am sure I will see Aleksi sometime next year. It is much appreciated as I know most would be sold out if I missed the opportunity.

Best,

Ari

And now it will no longer a 9-proof sketch ! http://www.ebay.com/itm/Tabernacle-at-Pendrell-Vale-ARTIST-PROOF-Legends-Set-Signed-by-Nicola-Leonard-/400358420019?ssPageName=ADME:B:SS:US:1123 It is a very poor sketch, but it is difficult to see a 9-proof one. So sad to see. But it has a fair chance at...

Well, what you would really be paying for would be the experience.

Just like trying to hit a target in amusement park. If you succeed, you get a prize and if you don't, you walk away with the fun memory.

I believe Mr. Chang is one probable candidate. But why not SCG ? That would be publicity for them too.

Anyway, we will have to wait another week and see.

I like the concept, but not really sure I could put that kind of value on it because its not really the black lotus, its just a black lotus. But yes, the truth is that, the prices bid are not for art, but for the iconic value of the card it reprsents. It is another Black Lotus - the second. And it ...

Ofcourse, with high value APs, I would never buy an unsigned copy. The obvious reason being the dubious origin. We all heard of artist AP binders stolen, right ?

No Hiromichi,

Artists told me that the championship prize original arts are taken by WotC upon completion.
