Got a latest one ... a "Flare" 49.. I really feel that the cards with 49 are a kind of Ice Age "glossy" testing cards.... because the 49 seems to printed in gold on them. Can't go further without laboratory and several printing specialist :-D So I can say (perhaps) as for result : ------------------...

Got no "microscope" on the hand but when I compare the plains 49 and the Tarpan 49 I have the impression that those "49" like hand made seems to be printed...

Think I'll go a laboratory for thoses cards and me I'll take a apointment for a psychiatric room (For me) ....

Found now a "Tarpan" glossy too with as well 49 marked in gold.

For the plains yes it is not a stamp it is writen in gold 49.

Strange as berkumps says that it is just the cards number classification...

I'm buzzy to classify my Ice Age cards and found this famous plains glossy "stamped 49" and after some time this "Touch of Death" that's seems to be a better example as glossy type card quality

Alexis find a few others... I got a "Touch of death" in my hand. I have compare with tones of the same cards that I have in stock and and this card seems for the moment the more easy to "find" to "fall dawn" or recoignize.... General color of the card / Texture (More easy to see with the black cards...

Possible that some Ice Age Starter deck has been made as well by the United States Playing car Corporation in place off Carta Mundi... same period as 4th Alter ...

Or Misprinted serie....
