Re: Jun Minagishi Tokens

Hiya, these came from an English level 3 judge who went to the Worlds in Sydney a couple of years ago to judge, and met Jun Minagishi (I think he said) and traded with him. I'll try and get the full story next time I see him. Theyve been with him since. I do have a couple of "multi-back" cards, and ...

Re: Resin Boxes

Hiya, well, the UK Wizards Oracle doeth say: there were 5000 resin boxes made to give out in the UK in the mid 1990s. Of these approx 3000 were distributed, and the other 2000 destroyed by WOTC. They were counted too brittle and easily broken to be of much use. So I guess there WERE quite a few out ...

Re: Resin Boxes

Hi,

we've got a couple of them about somewhere.

I was told they were done as a "test run" but that the resin was too brittle, and they were never made on a large scale.

I'll try and remember to ask Carl when I speak to him next.

Karen

Re: 3D cards at Worlds

Hi All,

theres a guy in the UK I occasionally see at tournaments who does this 3-D stuff with cards. I think hes done it for a few years now.

He does sell the 3-d pictures he makes tho.

If I see him around (and it may be a while),  I'll pick one up.

Re: What stupid card do you collect?

All the UK players on the board should know a certain someone who collects Moxes, I dont want to say his name in case he is a member here and does not want the agro. I think his current count is just under 100, ranging from Alpha to Unlimited. Now thats a collection! I think he sold up recently, to...

Re: Serial Numbered 5th Dawn

Hi

I'd bin those wrappers if I were you - else you might get your Tournament Organiser into trouble.

I can see there will be a lot more "wrapper promotions" in the future - and WOTC will now know if some boosters have been accidentally falling off the back of a TOs wagon.

Ornithopters here... for those who don't remember.  The last thing I did at Regionals last weekend was go to each vendor and purchase any ornithopters they had.... ahh what a good feeling.  1250 and counting.... - Rick Are you from the stall at Spiel, Essen, last year, whose entire backdrop was p...

Re: Not Cool

Hi

this sort-of already happens in the UK.
However, the price of boosters is kept high because of a "gentlemans agreement" that we have with WOTC,
which means that shops can compete on pricing.

Note that Decipher have had this policy for years.
