Pro Tour - San Diego

Post by ANALOG_KID » Tue Jun 19, 2007 5:48 am

If we can do one for GP Montreal, I guess I can do one for PT San Diego.

Anyone else planning on attending? (Besides MoonSprite and myself.)

Scheduled artists are Alan Pollack and Lars Grant-West.

fo shizzle.

I'll be in stripes since my ability to play magic is greatly hampered by sucking at the game.

Unfortunately, apparently even my ability to be in stripes is hampered this weekend.

I got to the airport at 9am this morning only to find out my connecting flight was cancelled due to a shortage of pilots.

After a 3 hour wait in the slowest line of people EVER, I find out that all flights are fully booked until Sunday..

So guess I'll not be in PTSD after all :(

You mean the airline couldn't find a sober pilot at 9 am? #-o

Were you flying the airline that has it's pilots blow into the little tube before they can start the plane or was it the one with festival seating and if not enough people chip in gas money, it doesn't go?

Hope they comp'd you decently for time and aggravation. (cha-ching!)

I got my ticket price refunded, but no additional compensation.

Sad Panda.

There were a couple of judges that didn't make it at all, and a few more that arrived v late - apparently the US was a bit of a madhouse. Every leg of my flight was delayed, but I did make it...eventually!

Sorry to miss you Dil, maybe next time?
