Another nice package!

Some nice starters there, I am still struggling to complete my English starters, not even going to look at the few foreign editions I have as I could barely fill a box!

You're collecting GEM betas in addition to alphas? Or just betas?

Nice pickups, I haven't looked at the pop report, how many 10's are there for the p9?

Pop reports for BGS Pristine 10's are below:

Alpha 9 cards out of 2906 graded, no P9, Tundra is only dual land.
Beta 21 cards out of 5022 graded, 5 P9 incl. 2x Lotus and 2 dual lands.

Pretty rare items indeed.
#2 All Time Finest PSA Alpha Set, GPA of 9.64, now retired and re-graded via Beckett. BGS GPA 9.40 after shipping off several pieces to JM!

Current Alpha Rare count = 1500+!

Currently working on 5 BGS 9.5+ sets.

Alpha - (will take any 9.5 that has a 9 sub on surface or centering.)
Beta - All 9.5 subs or higher.
Arabian Nights - All 9.5 subs or higher.
Antiquities - All 9.5 subs or higher.
Legends - All 9.5 subs or higher.

Yes I know certain cards all 9.5 subs isn't possible so some I will have to settle for less.

Well, this is not BGS or PSA 10 and won't sell for tons of money but it really brought a smile to my face and happiness to my heart. Not even a Christmas gift--just a "thanks old guy".

And Thank you

Cool.

It is interesting that some of these have a green sticker stuck to the wrapper, whereas others have the green circle printed as part of the wrapper.

Some other non-card items:

Also, I picked up this set of 17 Japanese Duel Masters graphic novels (not sure why, can't read Japanese)

Image

and was quite surprised when I took a look through them. I just assumed they would all be about Duel Master's, but the first 6 books are about playing MtG (similar to how Pokemon goes, they summon actual creatures using the cards).

There's a whole whack of card images littered throughout the books, here's a taste of some of the oldies in the first book:
