AD&D - Treasures of Tarmin! I still play this game once in a while. Even after over 25 years it's a great game.

But there were also a lot of crappy games on the intellivision

I assume you have to purchase 2 copies of each? No matter how bad the game, I'd still be tempted to open them and play it. Sealed video games are as bad as PSA slabbed cards ;p

Some games have two variations, one being released by Intellivision, the other by Mattell for the Intellivision system. Some games have even further variations on the box style (gatefold vs. simple flap).

I was referring to one for play use the other for the collection. Owning sealed video games is a very difficult concept for me ;p

Let's just say some of these games won't end up staying sealed. The temptation is too much for me not to play them. If I had a sealed copy of Shark! Shark!, i'd be opening it as we speak.

Its no different than owning a comic that's too expensive to read or a magic card you never intend to play with. The only real difference most likely is that you're probably not used to thinking of a game as a collectible. I started collecting sealed games for 10 years ago. If I want to play the game I have a powerpak that runs everything on one cartridge. But a lot of the allure/nostalgia is in the packaging and the condition of it. Like pretty much every other collectible.

I wanted to create a new atmosphere at home, So I selected some Key Issue comics (Silver / bronze Age) in order to display a new wall frame.
What do you think ?

I'm not a comic collector either but the issues you picked have perfect covers that all sync really well. I like it a lot. Make sure to post a pic when you get the Thor and Batman.

Job is always hard in MTG Stores these days, so I'm not sure if I'll be able to see you there.

Just had this delivered to me last night. Started bowling again after 3 years off due to a bum elbow that required surgery. This makes Perfect Game #14!



Now it can join the rest of them in the box in my closet :) The front row are all the old style 300 rings which look much better than the ugly new ones.
The ones on the top left are 2x 299 rings and a 298 ring while the top 2 on the right are 800 series rings which I have a high of 851.

I love those bowling rings. My uncle was a great bowler back in the 50's and 60's. He managed to throw a 300 in league competition in New Jersey, and was apparently the only one that did it the year he did.

He was given a beautiful gold-plated belt buckle by the New Jersey Bowling Association. They also gave the same belt buckle to the State Champion for the year.

When he died, the belt buckle was supposed to go to me. But there was a lot of sibling animosity among the cousins, and there was also a break-in at his condo and theft of some of his stuff after he died. So I never got the buckle. And I don't know if it went to someone else in the family, or got stolen and pawned somewhere for a few bucks.

I bet wearing a couple of those really completes the look when you show up flashing wads of $$$hundreds$$$ and buying vintage MtG collections like they're nothing.
