What a moronic idea! WOTC is really sniffing glue on this one.

I agree. Totally retarded. If these take the place of even a common, or basic land, I'll be unhappy about it.

The only way to make it worse would be to offer a premium (?) foil version.

There is a significant amount of flaming in the WotC boards about this.

I doubt very much we'll see something like this again. They should have known this reaction was coming.

Could have some long term value as the worst trading card ever produced. That card's so lame I bet it will turn up on some Late Night comedy show. It was too awful to put into the Unhinged boosters I guess.

Their next parody set can be called "Unraveled", and can feature all the bad and irrelevant aspects of the game. These chase cards can be a part of the "rising stars" subset. They can also include a "wall of shame" subset, which can include profiles of notorious rippers, counterfeiters and cheaters. There can be rules cards designed to confuse all but the most expert players. The entire set can be unique in not having a single card that is playable, even in casual games.

Don't forget, they also come in the fatpacks.

While it's stupid, I do wonder what the blurred out part of that URL is.

No the worst overall product ever put of was by Upperdeck for Mage Knight:

http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=ma ... gle+Search

They just printed cheesy cartoon concept art on cardstock and expected these things to actually sell. They have no affect in the CCG game and those Limited Edition figs are easily and cheaply obtained via tourney winners.

Even though WOTC has these player chase cards added, these are still not as cheesy as the Upperdeck product they expect people to buy.

Well, just finally read the actual article. Way to go Aaron Forsythe....you get the dumbass of the week award for spearheading this project.

Even though we are having fun flaming this sillyness, I think we all need to admit that we ALL want to "collect them all" , right?

Ok, then I will take them off your hands. I admit I feel drawn to collecting them all.
