A Note About Starter Boosters

I was browsing through the rarities section of the site, and noticed that one page shows Mon's Goblin Raiders as a starter only card from the Starter set.

I've opened them out of packs before. Has anybody else encountered this?

Are you sure you aren't thinking Starter 2000?

I opened 3 boxes of Starter 1999 boosters.

I got at least 3 of every rare. I got 15-19 of every common.

Except those commons from the starters only. Which included Mons Goblin Raiders, of which I have none (yes, sadly enough, I kept a spreadsheet on the Starter boosters).

I don't think starter 2000 had boosters, but I am about as certain as I can be that starter 1999 boosters didn't have the Raiders..

Hi.
Did you get them from Regular Starter 1999 Boosters or through the Demo one?

In the last case,it's normal that you've find some Mons Goblin Raiders in Demo Game Boosters ;-)
On my part, out of 4 Starter 1999 Booster Boxes that I opened,I Never found a Mon's Goblin Raiders.

Well, normally I would just relegate it to my memory being faded, but when Starter came out I bought the box set and 3 boosters and ended up with 3 Mon's Goblin Raiders. I can remember thinking how horrible my luck was because I pulled rares out of boosters that were commons in other sets.

I remember it clearly, because I bought them at On-Cue music stores when they were still around. It was the only time I bought magic cards from there.

The goblins are still common, they're just printed incorrectly.
