Re: Darksteel promotional token coin
That auction is for 2 coins... so around $8.00 a coin.
I agree, still expensive for what it is made of.
Then again... beta black lotus for thousands??? It is just 10 cents of cardboard and ink ;)

Re: Darksteel promotional token coin
well, actually.
the first day the auction got on ebay i emailed blue troll and asked the same question.
He stated then that it was for 1 coin.
And he claimed that there were 2 coins available in europe.
That's what he said.
apparantly he changed the auction description and the pictures

Re: Darksteel promotional token coin
I also talked with the seller because of the color.
He claims his scans are true color.
But my coins are the color as you can see on the image in my post above.
I bid on them because i wanted to know if there are differnt coins but didn't win.
And i don't think the coins are overpriced.
$16 for a unregistered coin that allows you to get 2 free booster drafts and some other bonus or promotion's as midtown wrote doesn't sound much for me if you put €12 ~ $15.20 for a draft in contrast.

Re: Darksteel promotional token coin
Riddle me this.... Why would the Dutch seller "the blue troll" outbid me on Jim's (queensdomains) auction for a Darksteel Coin?

Just as many people do. Buy something they feel is currently under value and then hoepfully flip it for me.Riddle me this.... Why would the Dutch seller "the blue troll" outbid me on Jim's (queensdomains) auction for a Darksteel Coin?

Now that the contest rewards have been sent, which differences are there between different countries? German participants have received a Magic cap and a rebate of 10 EUR for the next PTQ or Prerelease tournament. Please share your experience.
