Re: offer for sheet
It must be a New Jersey thing (or maybe its a July birthday thing?). I bet Ben is talking about the Uncut sheets of Japanese (or was it Chinese?) 5th Edition uncommons. There have been some offered recently on eBay. They look like printers colormatching sheets, and they were run on the back side of some weird animals cards. They certainly result in a Magic oddity .... maybe a rarity too.
My bet is that Ben was going to include a link that didn't show up. It wouldn't be the first time he has inadvertantly kept us in the dark.

Where have all the Magic sticker sets gone?

Re: offer for sheet
it has been fixed
I need a way to cut these appart. Also, I was thinking...with a sheet of cards, couldn't someone make whatever miscuts he wanted?

Re: offer for sheet
Is there any indication of where they should be cut? And how would someone go about cutting it, anyway?

Re: offer for sheet
I think the point is to NOT cut it.
Drop me a line Ben, I'm interested if they aren't already claimed.

Re: offer for sheet
dry_cereal: I heartily agree with the others. Do NOT cut it! Its possible uniqueness would be lost irreversibly. Could you please add more background about what you hold in hand and where you have it from? The cards on the sheet look like Traditional Chinese.

Re: offer for sheet
Ralph,
There was a guy in Kentucky or Tennessee who put 3 or 4 of these up for sale in a series of individual eBay auctions (and seemed to have more of them). As I stated above, they appear to be printer's sample runs. These would normally be run as color checks, or possibly to check the text alignment relative to the colors. Most had some sort of identifying code referencing a particular job number done by the printer for Wizards.
Since they were never intended to be real cards, they were run on the back of some other sheet of cards that had the same (or approximately the same) card stock. This is not unusual. What is unusual is that the sample sheets made it out of the printer's establishment. Maybe the seller was an industrial dumpster diver.
I agree that these sheets should not be cut, even if the alignment allows each magic card top have its own animal.

Re: offer for sheet
hammr7: Thank you for the explanation. This reinforces my suggestion not to cut it. While the sheet is not unique, items of this kind are usually very rare and not meant to be distributed at all. Discretion is recommended.
