Boosters Containing less than 15 cards

Post by Chad2012 » Sat Feb 21, 2004 10:42 pm

Hey

I was wondering if anyone had any information on how often boosters get released with less than 15 cards(or the correct amount for that pack/starter). I can remember seeing a homelands pack, back in 96, that contained only 2 cards. Unfortunately it was opened before I could trade for it.

Also what would the value of a pack like this be?

Thanks.
I, the undersigned, do hereby agree to all stipulations as discussed above. Signed, .............

This still happens.
At GP Munich i opened a Mirrodin Tournament Pack with only 74 cards while two others some seats away had 76 cards.
The judges said this happens sometimes with boosters/starters if the sorter machine doesn't work correct.
One obvious reason in my case: The Pack i opened did include 4 Foils ... unfortunately i had to give it to the judges in exchange for a new one.

T&T has some such for sale. What relation their prices bear to the "true" value I'll leave to your own judgment, but they were certainly far more than a standard pack.

This happens a lot with Yu-Gi-Oh :p

Hello.

When Apocalypse was in the shops, I bought a booster whit 14 cards, the rare card was missing. :o But fortunately, the shop boy gave me another booster free. ;)

Greetings from Spain.

I have opened a 30 Boxes of Mirrodin 15 boxes of DS and 12 boxes of FD and only ran into a few packs that were awkward.

Maybe 2 packs :)
