I recently read somewhere on this forum (can't find it now) that counterfeit 8th edition was circulating in Australia.

I'd like to obtain Stone Rain from this set for The Stone Rain Project. Nonfoil definitely, foil if I can get it. Can anyone there help me? Somebody dropped me a note about it awhile back, but hasn't responded to my e-mails.

For this need, and others, I would happily pay cash or paypal, or trade cards, although my tradestock is pitiful.

These Fakes are also circulating in Paris.I was in a MTG Shop,the other day,when a kid was asking if finding 7 Rares and a Foil in a Booster was normal ;-D
If I ever find a Stone Rain,I will let you know,but I doubt about it.
Otherwise,I might get a Box,if others Members Collectors are interested.
On another note,I will check,if I have any Stone Rains that you look for,
I already have a Misprint one ;-)

I've found an eBay seller tonite for the simplified-chinese 9E, 9E foil, and Champs of K, but all the others I still need to the best of my knowledge... and the misprint? Hoo boy! I'm definitely interested in that!

BTW: How much would a box of "fake 8th" cost? If it isn't too much I might be interested.

Hmm. Well Stone Rain wasn't printed in Mirrodin, so that's some other card. Thanks anyway on that.

Definitely interested in the French 9E, 9E Foil, CK Foil, Jap 8E, and Russian 9E Foil!! Please let me know what you want for those.

Nope I already have T-Chinese complete, but thanks anyway. Definitely you might want to run that card by either Hakan Abrahamson or Jeb Adams. Those guys are also doing global stone rain sets.

Re: fake-8th, well I definitely need a stone rain from the fake 8th set. So if nobody had one I'd probably buy individual boosters until I pulled one.

BTW, I think squt collects misprints. Maybe he would like to have that splotched Molten Rain.

So somebody is printing tens of thousands/millions of cards and also printing all of the packaging to sell it for $60-80 a box?

uh, these are very good fakes, no?

my friend got a few packs of fakes from hong kong. I traded for them. the fakiness is very good. Obvious due to size, coloring on back, foil process, number of cards in boosters, pictures on boosters, card stock, and glossiness, but aside from that it's all good. In fact, this friend played in hong kong pro tour or nationals or PTQ, not sure which, with a fake cloudpost in a sleeve without event. I'll check if I have a stone rain. I asked him to pick up more for me when he went back to hong kong, but he couldn't find them anymore. I am interested in buying product if it arises.
