Value : alt. art Starlit Angel
As subject says. Apologies if this has been posted in the past, but it's my first time visiting forums, and the search button didn't return anything helpful. Not really looking to trade/sell, but bought this one for $20 a couple years back.

Cool. Yeah I plan to stick around for a while, but 99% of rarities are just a tad more expensive than the amount of money I have :(
I guess I might as well tack it on to this thread since I very much dislike making new threads (fear of spamming) -- What is an uncut sheet of Arena stuff worth? Like the lands/counterspells/incinerates/disenchants. The sheet itself isn't in pristine condition, I'd say maybe only 75% of the cards would actually be usable if the sheet were cut. There's just too many small-ish (ranging from 1cm to 1inch) creases spread out across the sheet that ruins between 1 and 4 cards each time one appears.

Re: Value : alt. art Starlit Angel
I wouldn't break up the cards. I think it is more rare than the singles.
I do believe your starlit angel is worth a bit more than the sheet :P
I have no clue why you think rarities are expensive. Yes, some rarities are absurdly expensive, but there are tons that aren't. Plus, make up your own collection. For instance Dylan's signed island collection is a great idea. Plus, us collectors work together. Just let us know what you like. Lastly...while some cards are extremely rare, there are so many rare cards that it's not hard to accumulate a bunch.

Re: Value : alt. art Starlit Angel
I was more assessing the damage to the sheet than thinking of breaking it up. Considering I won the thing in some raffle by purchasing a single $1 repack, whatever it's worth is more than what I spent for it, just figured I'd ask on the value.
And of course, some rarities aren't as expensive as others. I've generally been interested in signed / altered / artist proof (of certain cards) etc, MoTL isn't exactly the best place to find 'em. Also wish I'd have joined earlier for those Minagishi tokens that were advertised on the main page. :p

The Arena sheets have varied on eBay over the last year from $60-120 US. Mine cost just under $100 about a year ago in pretty good shape. Most collectors understand that keeping a full sheet in Mint condition is a daunting task All depends on timing in the end (as with many other things).

Re: Value : alt. art Starlit Angel
there exist toploaders the size of entire sheets. They're really wierd, but they're there.
My dad got a digital video camera for the family vacation. I think I may make some movies for you all to enjoy. I already made one of a police line-up starring my toes.

I had my sheet framed (making sure they didn't glue it down to the backing). Â It looks really nice that way, and it stays in good shape while displayed. Âthere exist toploaders the size of entire sheets. Â They're really wierd, but they're there.

As for you Police Line Up... I think suspect #4 did it, with your socks, in your shoe.

Re: Value : alt. art Starlit Angel
Ask Ron Spencer to make a single sketch on the back on AP and he will charge you MINIMUM $50 above the price of the proof itself.Hehe, the RG one is like $.25-1.00~

So $45 if a cheap price.
It may appear expensive but, so far, Ron's sketches are by far the most amazing I have seen on the back of APs, along with Ed. Beard Jr. (who charges minimum $75 for a sketch).
Please help me finish my Boosters collection
