Relative pricing of non-English product

Post by Gryfalia » Tue Jul 06, 2004 3:01 am

Ok, that was a convoluted title..

What I mean is, for older product (I dunno, like Alliances or Mirage or whatever), how does the price in whatever base country it is compare to US prices of English product.

For example..

Alliances in English can be found at various on-line stores for $180-$200 (and a bit less on Ebay, but not much less).

But Alliances exists in several other languages...

So how much does German, French, Italian, Portuguese and Spanish cost in the home countries?  (in other words, if you are in Germany, how much would a box of German Alliances set you back were you bored enough to buy it off a website or whatever?).

Mirage tends to be $150-$180 or so English.

Items like Urza's Legacy and the like are quite a bit more than their original price.

Of course, in theory I could just look at German or French or whatever websites, but since my last German class was in College, and French in High School, and not knowing a lick of the others..I would probably be comparing starters to fat packs or something..;-)

Just wondering..hehe.
