PSA Mishap
Does PSA really screw up this badly? Or is something else to blame for this:

According to the PSA Certification Database, certification number 30879975 is defined as the following:
CARD INFORMATION
Year: 1993
Brand: MAGIC-GATHERING
Player: ANCESTRAL RECALL
Variety: BETA
Grade: 8
Re: PSA Mishap
I haven't seen this happen before, but it seems like PSA must have screwed up. If you trying to scam someone and you somehow replaced the encased card I would hope that you would have the brainpower to figure out that you should put in the actual card that is named. It must have been a big batch of Magic cards going through at once and they flipped the tags around between two cards and no one caught it.

Re: PSA Mishap
Right. And even with PSA's mistake, why would the poster post it as the incorrect name in the title?

If it were anyone other than "fake signature artist proofs seller" I might believe them.

Go, me for starting a 4th motion ;)
Seriously though, they let so many things get through that it is almost a completely waste to buy a card from them cause you will never know what you are getting.
Plus it doesn't help the fact that I think getting cards graded in the first place is the lamest thing ever...well aside from politics. [smiley=laugh.gif]

I fifth that. Seriously, its not like the card is any more mint just because they say it is, and it makes the cards much harder to binderize.Go, me for starting a 4th motion ;)

Re: PSA Mishap
If a card is nice enough to PSA (wow, thats the second word I 'verbed' just in this thread), it is too nice to be played :)
...not to mention shuffle.

Re: PSA Mishap
If this were a PSA mishap, don't you think that they would go out of their way to fix their error, at their cost, ASAP? After all, PSA does have a 'rep' they need to maintain. Slabbing cards with the wrong labels does nothing for their reputation. If the name of the card is wrong, perhaps the grading is wrong as well?
Bottom line, I would be VERY wary of this auction...

Re: PSA Mishap
This is the usual test I use to find out whether the seller is legit or not:
My question:
"Hello, would you accept to go through www.escrow.com if I pay for ALL associated fees? I would select credit-card payment and 1-day inspection period, making payment very quick. You would also save on Paypal fees. Let me know, thanks - Ende73"
His answer (answered very soon in fact):
Hi, this is junsan00 I would like to have normal way as I mentioned on acution. if you not satisfied returned it to me I will refound all the money. thanks
I thinks this speaks for itself  8)
