Who am I?

Post by BillyThrill » Fri Nov 03, 2006 3:54 am

Hi all,

Sorry if my unexpected presence caught anyone off guard. I'll tell y'all a little about myself to catch up on time not yet spent here.

I've been playing/collecting Magic since 1995 (participated in the first PTQ). Personally, I collect playable cards for Legacy and Highlander formats (the more FBB the better!). I've also got a thing for the 6x9 cards (and hope to make a playable deck in the near future). The wifey collects lands and anything by Christopher Rush (yeah... I know what you're thinking).

I also sell cards on the side on eBay, but I'm not going to mention my user ID here... I'm not looking to advertise. I will say, however, that within the last year, I acquired a GRIP of Alt. 4th Edition boxes (yes, over a case!) and have been spreading the wealth ever since. Next stop: Edgar :).

Hit me up any time for any thing. I'm an open book and so's my binder.

~Billy Thrill~

Last Call!!!
Decided to extend it a few more hours for you last minute shoppers. ;-)
6:00 pm Saturday, November 4, 2006 (California time) new cut-off.
I uh, err, umm,... misplaced the Magic hat. :-||
Uh-oh, MoonSprite gonna be unsmiley when she finds out. :->
(The hat was a gift from her.)
I may end up participating from an incapacitated physical state.

C'mon and join the fun!

And his 4 posts were not too bad:

I vote to keep him. Maybe he'll pick me from the hat and send me those P9 on my wishlist :-)

Found the hat.
I said incapacitated state, not an inebriated state. Besides, I've never been to Tennesssee. :-P

In case you any of you were wondering, MoonSprite does not know who drew her name, and I do not know who got mine.
We split the list, so each of us only knows who got the other and the 9 participants on their half of the list.
Makes it that much easier for me to play dumb. ;-) (Door knowingly left open for numerous jokes and remarks.)

Anyways, we've been contacting members, and requesting confirmation that they have rec'd their victims, uh.. er, targets, hmm.. that's not right, oh yeah.. intended recipients information.

As always, if you have any questions or concerns, PLEASE send either MoonSprite or myself a PM. :-)

Have a great one!
A.K.

Our apologies to those who were a bit late in joining in, but we had announced things early so as to give everyone ample opportunity to participate.

We will be updating (or at least try to) as recipients post or PM us that something has arrived.

We also realize that some of you are unable to wait until the 25th, either by mitigating circumstances or sheer impatience so, if you choose to disclose the contents of your package, please wait until after Dec. 20th.
Remember to thank your giver, and don't forget... no names should be mentioned on open forums.

I might have accidentally written From: PatheticSquid on mine, as that is my MOTL handle. Sorry for the confusion if there is one. Also, after the 22nd I will be unable to post if I received my gift, as I will be on vacation for two weeks.
