I wanted to bid on an item on Ebay Italy, what does this message mean :

Giocattoli potenzialmente nocivi attualmente in circolazione
In data 2 agosto la Commissione per la sicurezza dei consumatori statunitense ha ordinato il ritiro dal mercato di alcuni giocattoli Mattel (Barbie e Tanner, la macchinina denominata "il Sergente" della linea Cars e la Mattel Playsets con calamita) e alcuni giocattoli Fisher-Price (Dora, Diego, Elmo...) perché ritenuti potenzialmente nocivi. Il provvedimento riguarda alcuni modelli prodotti tra il 19 aprile e il 6 luglio 2007.

eBay ha preso molto seriamente l'iniziativa e sta collaborando attivamente con la Commissione per la sicurezza dei consumatori statunitense. Per tanto, invitiamo compratori a visitare il sito http://www.cpsc.gov/cpscpub/prerel/prhtml07/07257.html per avere maggiori informazioni sul ritiro e verificare i numeri di serie dei giocattoli interessati.

Se ritenete che un oggetto possa essere in qualche modo coinvolto nel ritiro contattate il venditore attraverso la funzione Fai una domanda al venditore per verificare il numero di serie del giocattolo.

Attention all bidders, potentially harmful toys are circulating !
On August 2nd the US Commission for Consumers's security has requested that some toys be withdrawn from the market, specifically some manufactured by Mattel (Barbie and Tanner, the car known as "Sergent" from the Cars series and the Mattel Playsets with a magnet) and others by Fisher-Price (Dora, Diego, Elmo...). This regulation affects several models produced between April 19th and July 6th 2007.

Ebay has taken this initiaitive very seriously and is collaborating with the US Commission for Consumers's security.

We therefore advise all buyers to visit http://www.cpsc.gov/cpscpub/prerel/prhtml07/07257.html to obtain further information about this policy and to verify the serial numbers of all affected toys.

If you believe an item could be involved in this matter please contact seller through the "Ask Seller a Question" link to have him/her confirm the toy's serial number.
