It always happens both ways. For shady people/stores, they never reply even after multiple emails or messages but suddenly reply fast when I finally file a paypal dispute. When i'm selling, people would just file a dispute without contacting first about where their shipment is, and claim to paypal that they tried contacting me many times without reply, but my records always show zero contact from them. Amazing :-O

I would add bigfireball.com and abugames.com to the USA list. BigFireBall seems to have good prices and I’ve had several orders go well. Abugames.com owns kardkastle.com and they share an inventory, but I find the abugames.com website easier to look at.

I buy very frequently on-line in the US and I feel obligated to add a few comments about some of the US stores. I’ve been dealing with many of these stores for >10 years and I think the best way to judge a store is by how they deal with problems when they do occur. The most common problem is the substitution of a card with a similar name or a non-foil for foil so it is not a big deal and easy to fix if the business cares about its customers. My best experiences have been with Coolstuffinc.com, abugames.com (same as kardkastle.com), and mtgmintcard.com. Trollandtoad, cardhaus, and starcitygames have been good too, but I’ve overall less experience with them.

I no longer buy from gatheringground.com since they were unbelievably rude on the phone and charged my credit card for several hundred dollars without providing product. I actually had to go to my credit card company to get a refund. I was having a good relationship with MagicArsenal.com (and spending a lot with them) until they sent me the completely wrong order and failed to fix the problem despite several emails and phone conversations. They ended up stealing about $70 from me. I encourage you to beware when dealing with these sellers since they seem to be very poor problem solvers.

USA
www.gamingetc.com <--- smooth orders, no problems
www.strikezoneonline.com <--- ordered once, things went fine
www.trollandtoad.com <--- have had poorly packaged stuff more than once, and cards in conditions below what's graded, starting to get turned off
www.dacardworld.com <--- several orders for sealed product, prompt and smooth
www.funkyfruitstand.com <--- this guy is awesomeness
www.cardhaus.com <--- only ordered from twice, both good experiences
www.starcitygames.com <--- many orders, no problems
www.mtgmintcard.com <--- not sure why this is under the USA tab, I've ordered stuff from them a few times from their website or on ebay (as goods-seller), item locations are stated to be Seattle Washington, however ebay member location is Hong Kong, and everything I've ever ordered from them has been posted from Hong Kong. Always get good cards, but if you're ordering expecting it to arrive quick as you "think" it ships from the US, you'll be waiting longer than expected (~2 weeks).
www.manaleak.com <--- based out of UK? Why under US tab?
www.coolstuffinc.com <--- have fairly decent pricing on some things (like NM alt 4th set for $399, that I should've bought when I first spied it)
www.gatheringground.com <--- bait & switch pricing tactics, completely rude customer service, shadiness on a stick!

ITALY
www.magicmarket.it <--- site has moved to http://www.mm25.it, could not find any singles anywhere, not sure if they carry them at all
http://www.magickingdom.it/public/catalog/ <--- link is dead, possibly store too, which is sad as I've ordered from them in the past and had no problems, used to be a good source of ITL foils
http://www.magic-store.it/ <--- site active but have yet to get any sort of response to my emails
http://www.magorosso.it/ <--- site active but have yet to get any sort of response to my emails

PORTUGAL
http://www.magictuga.com <--- site active but have yet to get any sort of response to my emails
http://mtgdraw.com <--- link is dead

GERMANY
www.trader-online.de <--- placed two large orders, ordering process and communication were good, just awaiting card arrivals

FRANCE
www.magicbazar.fr <--- placed one large order, communication good and cards shipped fast

SPAIN
www.magicevolution.com <--- site is nice and easy to navigate, but I couldn't figure out how to register for an account so that I could order cards, so I just dealt directly with David.

The first one is the biggest wholesaler in Italy and since January it sells to Italian shops only.
The second one closed some time ago.

I dealt with them for a roughly $1000 sale and it went really smoothly. Great stuff.

Via Magic lets you register mailing addresses in Spain, Portugal, and Brazil only.
The Brazilian websites only ship to Brazil (I think) :-(
That's kind of a pain for persons that don't live in any of those countries (like myself). ](*,) I sent the store owner an email asking if I could buy the 16 Paladins I found for sale on that site... will post an update if Via Magic replies.

Would a member from France be able to help me purchase some cards from magicbazar? International shipping is 30Euros and my order is ~65Euros. Guessing domestic shipping won't be that expensive (or a local pickup, that option is free). I can add a little extra via paypal or I can see your want list for a throwin in return for the help.

@Mark: Were you charged 30Euros for shipping as well?
