I think this lot is pretty decent at $2000+$200 ship if you have the time to pick it apart and sell it piecemeal-

Definitly not worth the price.
The auction displays only some old cards, most of it is inprint stuff.
Nearly Nothing from Mirage to 2008 is included ( just 4 wasteland 1 Dreadnought , 1 Fetchland ) I doubt there will be anything more in this collection worth more than 1 $ .
Even the "Heavy" miscuts are not heavy at all.
The Last picture shows square corners.

They have square corners. You can see the corners inside the sleeves. At least, I can see them.

last image is definitely CE, but i posted the link with that in mind.

If you can advertise 4k+ "unsearched" lots like this guy
http://cgi.ebay.com/4000-card-collectio ... 204wt_1139

at $100+ a pop, i think break even is pretty much guaranteed and then some

I sent the Seller a question shortly after the listing was posted as to whether the dual lands and Power 9 cards were Alpha, Beta or Collectors Edition, and I never received a response - even though the auction clearly states "feel free to contact me if you have any questions". I have a feeling the only legitimate card is the Alpha Jet, which apparently has a crease in it.

They're obviously CE/IE from the last picture. I don't see why this is in question.

Who want to buy 2k$ a lot of few decent rares ... valued arround 100$ and a ton of commons.

You can imagine (we already saw that) :
Seller : "I don't know anything about Magic, don't ask me what is in this lot, I don't know any rare name"
Seller : "Yes , 2 cards are named Mox in the lot, cards semse to be old with black border"
(-> Jack-in-the-Mox)

He seems to be very specific about the rares included in this lot... but he says.. "This collection is not sorted or inventoried; a list of cards is not available."
I have an "ok feeling" about this auction knowing details like "no basic lands" and "this is my, plus two others collections", which is probably why he states he doesn't know all the cards involved.
But is it worth $2,000 for what he states.
Creased Alpha Mox Jet (around $350/$400 for that condition), Ten duals (five are U. Seas at about $70/$100 a piece right now, rest about $40/$50).
Four wastelands ($50/$70 for now), a force of will ($60+) and odds and ends rares... two miscuts... etc.
Cant see much in the boxes or he would list them. so not worth it? close..
Maybe free shipping...
I have enough cards to stack them all up, and commit suicide off the top!
