Fake beta black lotus for sale on ebay

Post by Jmaschme » Sun Jul 27, 2014 4:54 am

I don't think the seller realizes. I tried to send him a message but had a computer glitch so it didn't go through.

I can't see how anyone seriously in the market for a Lotus would fall for this. I wouldn't be surprised if this thing ended with 1 or 2 zero/low feedback bidders at the top, neither of whom intend to pay.

It ended at 3805$... that's insanely sad.

Yeah... I hope the buyer actually realizes it when the card arrives and gets a refund. Worst case is he/she holds onto it for many years thinking they have a Beta Black Lotus, and then gets a rude awakening far down the road.

Well if a fake one is worth nearly $4000 I hate to think what a genuine one is worth!
One day I will own some Power 9 but I think it might just be the mox pearl...

How does someone willing to spend that much not immediately recognize this as an obvious fake... ?

The buyer actually posted negative feedback saying "look at the pictures! They sold me a fake!"

:-O
