Was 7th Edition printed in Simplified Chinese?
I can't find any image of Simplified Chinese 7th Edition cards, and I see that you have it listed at http://www.magiclibrarities.net/477-rar ... index.html
But, then at http://www.magiclibrarities.net/509-rar ... ition.html the cards that appear are Traditional ones (dots are in the center instead of the bottom, http://wiki.magiccardmarket.eu/wiki/Languages).

7Th Edition Simplified Chinese cards do exist, but Seventh Edition Magic Guide Card doesn't exist in Simplified Chinese. The Alternate Art cards from 7Th Edition that you mentioned are Simplified Chinese not Traditional Chinese.

Then the MKM wiki is wrong, as simplified Chinese also have the final phrase dots in the middle. http://wiki.magiccardmarket.eu/wiki/Fil ... dified.JPG

The end of phrase punctuation used to be different between traditional and simplified, but at some point WotC made it the same, which caused the cards to be more difficult to identify.
I've been considering making a traditional vs simplified thread with pictures to help with identification as font changes in those languages also cause difficulties.
Edit: Correction, Used to be the same between Traditional and Simplified, then Simplified punctuation was changed to be the same as Japanese cards.

I notice on the promos that there are two locations for dots. I hope there is some consistancy in this as it is my only way to tell them apart. A thread with pictures as you mention would be of value to me.cataclysm80 wrote:The end of phrase punctuation used to be different between traditional and simplified, but at some point WotC made it the same, which caused the cards to be more difficult to identify.

Here are two scans of Chinese 7th. The first one (bottom Counterspell) is Simplified, and the Wrath of God is traditional. Both have dots at the middle, but you can see how in the case of simplified letters are more separated (it seems "simplified"):mystical_tutor wrote:I notice on the promos that there are two locations for dots.
