Hi, what about a rating-system from members for members when a deal has been done or for someones exceptional help (maybe like Ebay)?

I think its not needed as there is not very much trading going on between members.

Not only for trading purposes, but also for exceptional help or something similar. I mentioned trading just as an example for illustration.

and what should that help? I dont see much of a use as most of us are on ebay anyways and that feedback can be used as reference. But well I am not against such a system I onyl would want to know what it should cover.

For example to show which members made a great contribution to the site and/or member(s), maybe this would be covered with the ranks like Alexis suggested. It was just an idea which I had while reading the thread "the Beginning". I felt like everybody (even members or guests that do not know all the threads) should be able to see which members did "something special".

I even don't know how this could be worked out nor how it could be shown in the profile/threads. Might be awarding something like a "Bundesverdienstkreuz" (I saw something like that on a Star Trek Site ).
