ok maybe I'm missing something obvious here, I can post links to pics of my magic cards in the forums here, but I see alot of people posting pics/scans of there cards directly, so what am I doing wrong? any help would be appreciated, thanks.

You must use tags.

This will display the image inside of the post.

I tried the image tag it didn't work

Yeah ... the picture is not publicly displayable because it is in your mailbox.
You need some sort of other web space (ie photobucket, imgshack, ...) to display it publicly.

When posting here I use http://tinypic.com/ and they have 6 different auto resize options, one being message board size.

Now that looks cool. I'm going to try that as Photoshop is a very time consuming software.

the problem isn't anything mentioned above, you just needed to grab the right link. Just make sure the link ends in .jpg
On photobucket there should be a direct link option somewhere on the page and possible something that comes with img tags pre attached, but not 100% sure on that one.
