Hi Members

This post, just for the memory:

https://magic.wizards.com/en/articles/a ... 2017-10-20

The double-faced cards were done on a separate sheet.

So looks like 5 languages were not affected or not spotted yet: "English" ?, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Russian. Cards that are typically Made in Belgium printed at Carta Mundi, while the Japanese cards are Made in Japan. English cards are both made in Belgium and in the U.S.A.

It might be interesting to find out if the problem only took place in the printing facility based in the U.S.A., or if it took place also at Carta Mundi. The data for Ixalan, is not fully added yet:

Pics (from Chapuzas)

No Blue or Black layer (mainly used for fake cards) for the Ixalan double-faced:

The weight is really not the same: 1.40 (Double-Faced Vs 1.75 (Regular card)

Light test, nothing is blocking the light.

This post:

clarifies that it is the blue layer that is missing. Incidentally, all my double-faced land cards are w/o it.

OK, I was expecting something like a different basic land on either side for multicoloured decks, nothing like this!

And ten more Alternate Art cards to add to the Buy-a-Box subsection:

PS: Let me know if those are also made of poor card stock.

I'm assuming that this is the same stock used for tokens and advertisement cards, has anyone noticed any differences?

The printing facilities do not exclusively produce Magic cards. They also print MANY other items for other companies.
The card stock which was accidentally used could be from anything.
