3 of the 6 I found have this "O", all the shops that did answer told me that about 30% of their cards have this "O", the rest not. Most of them did not notice and now spontaneous changed the price for them...

So there do officially exist 2 versions.

Is it actually possible, that this so called "O" variation is actually a printer hickey and just looks like an "O" ? I had a closer look and the inner part of the "O" looks very unsymmetric just like printer hickeys do. Its just not that common that you find hickey on foil cards. Imho it just makes no sense that 2 foil versions of touch and go do exist.
Any opinions of that ?

Hi

I remember when I find those. Apparently a lot of them are affected, but I have no precised explanations so far, as it was the only foil card with that "O", I will scan the card in HQ 1200 DPI, to check after all those years.

Another random Hickey, which looks similar. I guess, the hicky happens first, and then the foil layer is applied.
