The status of Korean Language M12

Post by Ertai's Familiar » Wed Oct 19, 2011 9:16 pm

Saw the first boxes of sealed Korean M12 going up on auction sites today.

Seems to be going around on various MTG sites that the printing is very poor and translations are off. Anyone have a chance to crack some of this product yet?

I did a search for "Korean 2012" on a certain auction site... I had no idea Korea had so many boy bands. Still don't really care, either.

I couldn't translate Korean language. In addition, I don't know this site will ship worldwide.

Wow intereting. A friend of mine told me they were selling them at 140,000W 122 USD in the stores but this is a bit up from that, about 137 USD at todays rate. Store prices are negotible--at the store and in the language...LOL.

I got one in my store. I, of course, opened it. Cause that's how I roll. I did see some smudging here and there, and my box was rather horrid (can't blame them for that). No clue on the translations...

Just to keep people informed, the Korean from WotC is now all gone. The one box a week got them an order from me every week even if I didn't really NEED anything...

Good information. Thanks. Have they started accepting orders for Innistrad then?

They will probably reprint as M12 was released only 2 months ago there...

They aren't OUT of Korean M12 (that I know of), they are just out of it available in the US.

Innistrad..erm, mebbe. I might have preordered a single box, tho honestly I'm not sure, hehe...

The answer to 'do you want any Korean' is 'all you can sell me', and my rep knows that..;-)

random 4th hand information... or something like that...
the shop owner said that he read on some boards (see what I mean) that M12 had been recalled. Anyone know if there is any truth to that? I was under the impression it just sold quickly.
Also, anyone have any info if there will be a second printing done?

M12 recalled? Which M12? But I haven't seen any recalls on any Magic at all. Can't even imagine what type of an error would possibly be big enough to fix that way...

was referring to the korean of course. I didn't put much faith in that info, I was just seeing if I was possibly incorrect. Typically product that would need to be recalled would just get trashed during the inspections they do was my thought.
