Well, I think the secondary market is going wild trying to Hype the product by highly inflated prices. It may be one of those things that does work in the area of mass hysteria. Tell everyone it is worth X and enough will believe you that it will sell for that.

We are being manipulated.

Parkage lost a good customer here (me !)

Artificially inflate the price of an item is the worst signal such a big shop could send to his customers. A shop like this is no secondary market, it should be pimary (?)

Maybe they bought hundreds of loyal retainers these last weeks and they don't want them to lose value

Parkage never had any deontology to me. And less and less sellers whether big or small have...

They are all milking the cow. Let's see how long this will last.

350 Euros for Arsenal is a disgrace.

yes, but the store is also limited to what they can do on their end. They have tons of people wanting an item that they get 5 of, what is proper for them to do? Sell all to the first guy that offers MSRP so he can flip them? First come first serve? lottery? just auction them on ebay... ?
The stores choose the option of raising the price until the number of buyers is about the same as the supply. Sucks for those of us not wanting to pay some huge amount. I think I might get lucky and grab 3 at close to MSRP so I can redistribute to friends that won't be able to get them, keeping one for myself of course. Crossing my fingers on that one. Even if I can get them, I can't cover the needs of myself plus all my friends that want one.... same position the stores are in it seems.

Each store always has a few good customers to whom they can sell the set at Retail Price.

That's what the stores I do business with always do.

All other explanation is bullshit.

My idea is to sell them too for retail to my best customers. That seems, by far, the best option.

Or a little higher. But not 200 or 300 Euros.

The impoetant thing here is: Do they know that? It is best to let them know how their behavior has affected you.

They are very pretentious and arrogant. Hence the price...
