2012 Holiday Gift Box
A friend of mine just advised me of this annoucement:
http://www.wizards.com/magic/magazine/a ... rcana/1039
A least a more reasonable price than "Commander Arsenal" that comes in december.

Re: 2012 Holiday Gift Box
That is a seriously cool, seemingly well thought out product.
I really like the idea of being able to put a sticker at the top of the sorters, although I won't likely use them on the dividers (hehehe).

I agree Clay;
This is a very interesting idea and serves a tremendously needed area. I play and collect Magic and I don't know what to get Magic players for Christmas. This fits very nicely and I'll be telling my local shop to get me a half dozen (hope WotC will sell them that many).
It needs PUBLIC advertisement though. The 0 non-Magic players that go to the WotC site are the people that would benefit from this product but where will they find out about it (oh, ya, Magic players need to tell them---not very effective I think).
Looing forward to seeing this in flyers, mass marketers adds, on TV and social media.....
Thanks for the tip Knutsen. I never seem to see these things.

I was able to buy one of these in Japan, and the store had plenty more.
Takara Tomy put a sticker on the holiday gift box like they do for the FTV box sets, but like the holiday gift boxes in the states, the cards inside are English. I also like the fact that the box can be re-used to store cards. I can now better organize all of the old cards that I have in the footlocker into something a bit tidier!
I had not noticed the Dreg Mangler was an alternate art. Great, another promo.
On a side note, I bought a Japanese Selesnaya pre-release intro pack thingy at the same place I bought the holiday gift box, and got a foil Overgrown Tomb. oh yeah!

Posting these just cuz....
I think the quality if really good and they made a great effort to provide something for the holidays.
For the number gatherers each one is numbered and marked EN. Were these dividers done in other languages?

A very careful answer, sidestepping the trap I set...sigh.magic-belgium wrote:They are neat indeed.
The box is only available in English.

Please, my friend. I am joking. There is nothing on the dividers to put in different languages except the "EN" at the end of the number. My comment was to poke a little fun at whoever put the numbers on the dividers and specified EN when there is no English (or French or Babylonian) on any of the dividers.magic-belgium wrote:But I can ask around of course.

I checked some other dividers from other deck boxes in the past, and they all bear the EN on them.mystical_tutor wrote:Please, my friend. I am joking.
