I again mention that you may not have an option of getting "a bunch" of these. It could be a "one to a customer" until after the show when the remainder will be available through the toy store.random wrote:Seems risky for me though if I go there and pick up piles of these for $$ and then "possibly" everyone gets one and I'm sitting on a bunch of stuff I don't want that cost me $60+ per. I'd deserve the possible negative outcome if I was speculating for sure! That's not the case though...

As these will be sold through the Hasbro booth (along with NUMEROUS other exclusives from Star Wars, G.I. Joe, Marvel, etc.). expect looooong waits in line(s), purchase limits and temporarily out of stock times.
I'll be attending two of the four days of the show and am still undecided if I'm willing to give up that much floor time without at least a guarantee of getting at least one for myself.

You have to wait in line to get a ticket to get in the line to get the product. Worse than Disneyland like I said before:)
That's what sucks about California.
Seriously, if everyone who wasn't born here magically vaporized (I could only be so lucky...) it would be like a Twilight Zone episode where some guy wakes up and there's NOBODY and he wanders the streets "Hello" and... nobody.
Looks like I'll wind up with 20 of these.

Please let me know, PM preferably, if you have a set for me. I don't want to snag an extra if it means someone won't get one but two would be nice.

You have to wait in line to get a ticket to wait in line. Then if you're not close to the front of line 2 (which means being in front of line 1) you basically are assed out- It sucks for most people IMO- Typical but they ought to have a better system versus the pointless waiting. Lucky I was with so many people...

If seeing people with their arms are full of maximum purchase limits on everything available that they could get their hands on is an indicator, then from what I saw yesterday, as well reported by a friend at SDCC today, it looked like a rather large percentage (easily over 50%) of the SDCC walkers were sold to people that are likely to be scalping them on ebay, other sites, etc.
