Complete International Edition with different colors?

Hey guys,
my first post here, if I should hit the wrong forum or made another mistake, just let me know.
Some weeks ago I bought a complete International Edition from a private seller. It seems to be complete (all 363 cards are in the box plus some additional basics, for whatever reasons they came in...), but some of the cards (about 30) show a complete different color style. Since a picture often says more than 1000 words, just see an example for yourself:

The wheel shows a red most of the red cards show. The Sedge Troll is much darker.
The non standard cards in the box are mostly basics, the ~10 nonbasic "dissidents" show unfortunately no pattern (Rares, Commons and Uncommons / even a volcanic island).
The seller said, he has no explanation (maybe he can't remember, since he didn't play for a lot of years), he bought the box sealed. So I'm pretty much at a loss here.
My only explanation would be - in the old years of magic, this could happen for different sheets. Some sheets with more than one times color on it, or something like that.
Maybe someone of you can enlighten me?
Best wishes from Germany, Urs...
