WoW! That is awesome! Just what I wanted this catagory for on the board. Wish everyone would put their pride and joy up here.

I knew you collected cremps but had NO idea how extensive and interesting your collection is.

Great job.

So, here's some background. A few months ago, my friend Soly suggested I play an all-misprint deck. I have an all-misprinted EDH, and I thought that I should build a Legacy deck for the upcoming SCG Madison. I have a LOT of misprints, since I've been collecting them for at least 8-10 years, and I have a lot of playable ones, especially blue ones, so I went with a blue-white control deck. Sdematt helped me design the deck, and I think he did a pretty good job. Remember, this had to be a 75-misprint deck, so that's why I went with Jace Beleren instead of Jace the Mindsculptor and that sort of thing. I went 5-3 with it, beating a lot of top decks. I had a TON of fun and I will definitely be playing a lot more Legacy in the future. Here's what I played:

If you can't see the card's misprinting, it's probably crimped. My misprinted EDH has no crimps in it because I thought that would be too easy, as I have over 6000 crimped cards, but I played some crimps in my Legacy deck because otherwise it would be impossible to field a playable deck.

The decklist:

I don't think so. The cards I have owned have never changed color over the years, and the Swords is very light-printed in general, not just the border. The text is a lot lighter than on a normal one.

Hey Ben. I have a foil rare from a much newer set that has Identical corner shape and the same offcenterness as your clique. Any idea how 2 cards from different sets could be identically cut wrong?-

I've seen other cards like that from various sets. If they can miscut it in one set, they can do it in others. What card do you have?

Blade Splicer. I just am wondering how the miscuts can be so bizarre, yet nearly identical. Jason

Well, presumably the same thing that happened in Morningtide happened in New Phyrexia as well. I don't know what it was, but if it happened once, it can happen again.

I'll try to dig some out, I'm pretty shure that it happend over time. Especially Fallen Empires is affected.

Well, it's nothing that's ever happened to my cards.

Tha_Gunslinga wrote:Sorry for the poor photo quality. This is one crimped card from each Magic set ever printed, excluding Championship decks and such things for obvious reasons. I have been collecting crimped cards for around 10 years now and have slightly over 6000, including about a hundred non-Magic crimps. I'm always looking for more, especially Beta crimps, since I have 55% of the Beta set completed.
Absolutely Awesome!!!!

Thanks a big much for posting this. It is a pain to photograph cards (or scan them) and post them. This is a real addition to this board and this section.

Thanks for sharing.

Say, I just pulled a crimped card I'll bet you don't have. May not even want one but I though I'd let you know.

Korean Innistrad 7/12 Zombie token. Just barley crimped clear across the top. If you want it I'll bet we can work a deal.... LOL.

Hi Tha_Gunslinga,
I'm not sure what crimps you need for your set, but this is what I have kicking around.

I also have a walk but I'm not ready to part with it yet (it's in rough shape anyways): http://imgur.com/a/0foDZ#0
