Great! You are really into this. Best of luck.

BTW, I have the Italian Coldsnap version somewhere... I need to look at it's condition.
The Italian CSTD version looks lovely.

I have inquired into the Foil TS Disenchant, but no luck yet. I should be able to pick up the 6th Edition Japanese, and maybe the Chinese versions, too.

Can I get a mailing address please?

Disenchant Project

Post by cataclysm80 » Fri Sep 27, 2013 7:28 pm

Hey, I was looking over your website and noticed that the card you show as your French White Border Revised Disenchant has a 1995 copyright date. That would make it a French 4th Edition Disenchant. The French White Border Revised has a 1994 copyright date. (There are 11 French White Border Revised cards with 1995 date, but Disenchant is not one of them.) Anyway, I wanted to let you know that you were either missing a card that you thought you had, OR you just have the wrong picture on the website.

I have good and bad news about this project. The bad is, the owner has stopped collecting Magic and abanoned it. The good is, it has been revitalized as The Green Disenchant Project:

Any feedback, suggestions and error reports are welcome.

I have never heard of Front and Back cuts before. It makes sense from a practical point of view, but is it really clearly visible without any magnifier?

Hi Alexis,

I'm the current owner of this project.
Thanks for the hint, I didn't know about Box Topper artist proofs. A search engine for the rarities section would be a great help to make all the valuable info better accessible.

Yes, with some practice, it's clearly visible, if the cards aren't worn from shuffling on the edges. In the case you are farsighted, you might need a lupe or to look at photos. It also depends on the set. Every front cut up to Saga block is rather easy to see, 7th Edition foil was the hardest for me.

You're welcome. if a member is willing to create an index of 13420 cards and more in order for a search function to be implemented, then we can talk about it.

Gary tried to pimp me out for this when the subject was brought up a year ago... :-P

But I do already have a start to this with an Excel file that includes card type, color and artist. Adding subtype would be easy. So, what else would be desired for the search engine?

Also, I have a Jester's Cap 9th Edition BT AP, so I guess you could add that to the box topper page. Got it from the artist at the 2011 SD GP.

Hi Clay

I will add it, as I only saw the 2 others, over the years, wondering if all the 13 Box Topper A.P. were available.
