Hi Alexis,

Personally I really like the Charly Brown Medallions!

Especially the Sapphire Medallion, since it's the most beautiful and the most playable Medaillon.

I collect them (Saphhire, Emerald, Ruby).

Chris, if you would be interested in buying the set of 3, I could sell them for you.

Yes, these are the only ones where you can see the 'cartoons'. And They are in a few different languages too. I have English, German, & Portuguese in my collection.

Supposedly 'all' of the cards that are Tempest rares have something printed on them, it is that the only ones you can see it on are these 3 Medallions.

Dire Wolves 2G or 3G

Post by equi-nox76 » Fri Sep 14, 2007 2:00 pm

In my want list I noted following:
Dire Wolves Wrong casting cost Ice Age Italian
Now I saw this card in English too:
Image
The English Wolves in my collection have all 2G.
Image
Now I'm wondering if the Dire Wolves also exist with 3G in English in addition to the 3G in Italian version?
Image :-O

That's the point, but all Magic-shops show the one with 3G and in the description they say 2G?? ](*,) This is really confusing me. I don't want to hunt for something that does not exist, but obviously some of them have been scanned for shops... #-o

Dire Wolves

Post by victorcamp » Fri Sep 14, 2007 2:35 pm

The 3G Dire Wolves pic is from the Magic the Gathering Official Encyclopedia Volume 1. There are several examples of cards from the various encyclopedia volumes with incorrect info. The publisher receives preliminary art which gets changed later prior to printing of the actual card.

maybe the Encyclopedia Volume 1 have incorrect info .... this info is still the same :

http://ww2.wizards.com/Gatherer/CardDet ... e%20Wolves
http://magiccards.info/ia/en/118.html
http://www.trollandtoad.com/p92612.html

maybe each time it's the same scan, but why any of them got the "right" one ?
